Mike Huckabee recently named Richard Haas (the President of the CFR) as his advisor on foreign policy. CNN's WOLF BLITZER asked "Who are your principal foreign policy advisers, Governor?" Mike Huckabee responded: "Well, I have a number of people from whom I get policy. I'm talking to Frank Gaffney, I talk to Richard Haas.." So what does Richard Haas believe in? Thursday night Rep. Henry Waxman walked into a crowded room of concerned constituents and citizens - after what had reportedly already been a trying day. The longtime and much loved Congressman got a little more than he bargained for. Waxman was met in a small community room at the Westside Pavilion Landmark Theater building in Santa Monica, CA, by more than a hundred people, most of whom appeared to be there to discuss and press for the impeachment of both President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
Waxman’s more than 30-minute speech focussed on health care, corrupt charities, rampant steroid use in major league baseball, and he touched lightly with pride on the fact that Congress had just passed the Whistle Blower Protection Act. He clearly stated with regard to any impeachment bill that his opinion differed from those in the room and that he would not support such hearings nor would he entertain a new 911 investigation because it would look bad for the Democratic Party. When the disagreeing crowd interrupted his speech at that point, Waxman, who was clearly agitated and sounding almost childish said,
"Hey this is not right, the way you are treating me".
As We Are Change LA’s Adam Ruff put it,
"He nearly cracked completely a couple times. He apparently wants to continue to ignore the will of the people and wants to be respected for that".
Later, when the audience was allowed to ask questions they lined the center isle for their turn to speak. From the beginning Waxman was bombarded with question after question about Sibel Edmonds – the gagged FBI Whistleblower, WTC7 and other issues related to the crimes of 911. These questions came from We Are Change LA members who had dispersed into the audience and appeared to be coming from everywhere - even the cameraman at the event, Drew Piper, was a founding member of the Change LA group.
Congressman Waxman, you have just been Truth Squaded!
The questions ranged from why the Congressman refuses to have Sibel Edmonds testify under oath in an open session to when will Congress open a new 911 investigation - while also hitting hard on HR 1955. Waxman was obviously caught off guard and cornered with little to say on those issues. Even the forum’s host and moderator, Mickey Oskey - of the Democratic Westside Progressives, tried without luck, to stop the bombardment. No less than six We Are Change LA members were able to get their hard-hitting questions heard before the Congressman had to leave.
At the end of the night I asked core Change LA members Katy Kurtzman - whose question was about the new Thought Crime Bill HR 1955, and Jeremy Rothe-Kushel what they were walking away with from this experience.
Katy was the first to respond,
"What I find most striking is he (Waxman) admitted to not reading HR 1955 at all before signing it. I mean, that just really struck me hard, that and also the fact that he is obviously ok with fascism and treason in our country because according to him it would hurt the Democratic Party if he were to press any line of impeachment".
When Kurtzman asked her question during the Q & A, the Congressman readily admitted to not having read HR 1955 and went on to admonish the audience for not alerting him personally that there was any controversy surrounding the Bill. Anonymously from the audience came the response that Waxman had no right to sign anything pertaining to the American people without first reading and understanding what he was signing.
While as Jeremy, Change member and founder of Jewish Voices for Peace and Justice, said he got what he had expected to get and that, "He (Waxman) confirmed for me what I was already thinking about the democratic leadership at this point, that they’re just playing politics with peoples lives and with what is right and wrong. The fact that the congress has a lower approval rating then the worst President in US history is proof that this strategy of theirs is neither moral nor politically savvy".
As Waxman exited the community room, Change members were waiting for him on the catwalk, with camera rolling. Followed by his entourage, Waxman walked away only to stop abruptly, arms spread wide in question and turn to this writer with obvious discomfort and ask,
"Why are you following me?"
To which I replied,
"Because the exits that way Sir…" *Sibel Edmonds - pronounced Si-bell, testified under oath before Congress about foreknowledge of the attacks of Sep. 11th, 2001 by government higher ups as translated while the FBI employed her. Sibel has been gagged from speaking about this and other evidence, by the US Government with threat of incarceration and is a champion to the 911 Truth movement.

In 1949, George Orwell published his masterpiece novel 1984. Even if they haven't read it, most people remember the book's key takeaway: Big Brother is watching.
Fast forward to 2008 and Big Brother really is watching. The vehicle that makes Big Brother's omniscience possible is the network.
The network: that mass of boxes, interface cards, cables and antennae that when combined become a platform for every type of human interaction and collaboration on the planet Earth (and beyond).
Let's take a look at how the networking world of 2008 will become all-knowing and all-seeing -- a silicon- and fiber-based Big Brother, if you will.
Frost: In terms of these three people that you mentioned, were they members of or associated with the government?
Bhutto: Yes, well one of them is a very key figure in security. He's a former military officer. He's someone that has had dealings with Jaish-e-Mohammad, one of the banned groups and Maulana Azhar, who was in an Indian jail for decapitating three British tourists and three American tourists, and he also had dealings with Omar Sheikh,the man who murdered Osama Bin Laden.

Comedian Steven Wright has used that line in his standup routine for years. George Martin is going to prove it’s true.
But Martin’s journey is no joke. The former Giants defensive end is walking from one end of the United States to the other in an effort to raise $10 million to care for first responders who develop illnesses related to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and its aftermath. His expedition will begin at the George Washington Bridge, move south to Washington, turn west on Interstate 40, cut through the heart of the nation and end after more than 3,000 miles of footwork at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Martin will depart on Sept. 16. He hopes to reach his destination in early December.
Our government’s official story regarding the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, tells us that 19 Arab hijackers successfully defeated the United States military by hijacking four commercial airliners within two hours on a budget of approximately $400,000. These men, armed only with small knives, box cutters and Mace, were able to knock down the World Trade Center towers in New York City and strike the Pentagon.
Because our loved ones were murdered on 9/11, we felt that the details of how the hijackers succeeded should be thoroughly investigated, so we fought for an independent 9/11 Commission. It seemed logical that our government would want to know what happened so as to prevent another attack.
When the legislation for the 9/11 Commission was passed, it gave the commissioners full subpoena power. Unfortunately, that subpoena power was rarely used.
You report that “the panel made repeated and detailed requests to the Central Intelligence Agency in 2003 and 2004 for documents and other information about the interrogation of operatives of Al Qaeda.” But while the panel did make “document requests” to the C.I.A., it did not subpoena the C.I.A. for the documents and tapes.
A subpoena would have meant that the C.I.A. would have had to answer the commission as to whether the documents and tapes existed, and the agency would have had to explain its reasons for not turning these documents and tapes over to the panel. We would have had a paper trail about the evidence.
You also report, “In interviews this week, the two chairmen of the commission, Lee H. Hamilton and Thomas H. Kean, said their reading of the report had convinced them that the agency had made a conscious decision to impede the Sept. 11 commission’s inquiry.”
The question is: Are Americans satisfied with this?
The 9/11 Commission did not fulfill its mandate to thoroughly investigate the 9/11 attacks. A real investigation into the events of Sept. 11 that examines all of the evidence has never been done and is still needed. Lorie Van Auken

Former New York City mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani talks to George Stephanopoulos about accusations that firefighters died on 9/11 due to radios that Giuliani himself knew weren't suitable for use.
Giuliani has been personally blamed for the deaths of firefighters on September 11, 2001, including by NYFD Deputy Fire Chief James Riches, whose son, also a firefighter, died at Ground Zero. Giuliani is not only accused of providing faulty equipment, but also of ending the search for survivors too early.
"I feel very bad about that," responds Giuliani. "I mean, I feel very bad about the whole situation."
"Myself," he continues, "and all the people that are involved in this have been very hurt by this, and it creates a lot of pain. It creates a lot of suffering. And, if they're angry at me, so be it. I did everything I could--I did everything I could think of doing in that situation to help.
"I think I made mostly the right decisions."
Says Giuliani about the radios in question: "Well, the radios that you're talking about weren't put online for three, four, five years after, so it would have been impossible for me to have those radios ready.
"It took the city two, three more years."
Responds Stephanopoulos, "But they had a malfunction in 1993."
NY1 News reports: “New York City police are moving forward on a multimillion-dollar counter-terrorism initiative, installing more than a hundred license plate readers and eventually thousands of cameras in Lower Manhattan.” Cameras will be mounted atop cop cars, photographing license plates, and the results will be sent to a database “to see, for example, if the car is stolen.”
It seems irrational, spending $106 million to catch car thieves. But then the “initiative” is billed as an adventure in “counter-terrorism,” not one to counter car thieves. Of course, there are precious few terrorists of the Osama bin Laden type on Manhattan, or anywhere else outside of the Middle East, but this matters not, as the point is to monitor the masses, not catch mythical terrorists as they exit strip clubs.
“The license plate readers are just the tip of the iceberg in what’s billed as the Lower Manhattan Security Initiative,” reports NY1 News. “We’re looking to put in, ultimately, a thousand cameras in public spaces, link it to 2,000 private sector cameras,” says Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, a former Interpol functionary who was once considered to lead the FBI.

PARIS — A French anti-terrorist judge has filed preliminary charges against an investigative journalist and author accused of publishing defense secrets, judicial officials said Friday. Authorities are investigating articles by Guillaume Dasquie, including one that reported French intelligence had suspected of planning a plane hijacking nine months before the Sept. 11 attacks.
Dasquie was detained Wednesday after investigators from the DST counterespionage agency searched his residence, the judicial officials said. On Thursday, investigating judge Philippe Coirre, who handles anti-terrorist cases, filed preliminary charges, the officials said.

Chicago Tourists and Photographers Now Considered al-Qaeda

Some relatives of 9/11 victims are wondering whether they'll live to see the World Trade Center memorial after learning Tuesday that the tribute won't open until a decade after the attack.
"There are family members that I know that are elderly or very ill and they want to memorialize their son and their daughter and I don't know if that will happen anymore," said Bill Doyle, 60, whose son Joey Doyle was killed in the North Tower. "Now it's going to be two years later and then they'll say four years, but the further you get away from 9/11, people are going to forget about it."
Indeed, many families expressed outrage after the Port Authority, citing construction delays, announced that the Reflecting Absence memorial would open in 2011, two years later than expected.

Temple University student Nick Carangi, founder of Philly911Truth confronted Bill Clinton on Tuesday at a Hillary fund raiser and received a visit from Secret Service agents at his parent's house today. Two agents questioned Nick about the confrontation and his participation at the Drexel Debate. They asked him if he would use violence to defend the constitution. He responded that he had never even considered the thought. They continued to press Nick on his recent activities with respect to the videos he has released in rapid fire as of late. They implied that his future professional career could be effected as his mother listened in disbelief in the same room. Nick has his own place but the agents waited until they could question him at his parent's home. An obvious attempt at embarrassing him and trying to drive a wedge between him and his family, not to mention a blatant intimidation tactic.
Nick, a senior sociology major, was left feeling bewildered that exercising his constitutional rights could warrant this type of treatment. What constitutes a threat to a former president? Questions about Bildeberger involvement evidently.

The managing director of the company that eerily, and some charge suspiciously, were running drills identical to the events that unfolded on 7/7 in London had to flee from members of We Are Change UK this week when he was asked to explain who had hired his consultancy firm to run the exercise that coincided with the bombing.
Peter Power, head of Visor Consultants, was a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti-Terrorist Branch.
The odds of such a coincidence are absolutely staggering, which led some to charge that Power's drill was set up ahead of time by people with insider foreknowledge of 7/7.
Just as happened on 9/11, when exercises involving hijacked aircraft overlapped with the real attacks, some charge that the drill was a cover for the real attack in case any of its perpetrators were caught.
Power's culpability is seemingly minimal - after all why would he announce the drill on national radio hours after the attack - but his reaction to the questions asked in this video prove that he is very uncomfortable about discussing the subject now.
Power becomes agitated as soon as he realizes he is being filmed and jabs his finger at the camera as he begins to walk away.
Power is then asked about the mock terror drills he was running on 7/7 that coincided with the bombings and which company he was running the simulation for.
Power's only response is to storm off before ducking into a room and closing the door.

Starting off outside BBC Radio, then to the Tate Modern (where we left an exhibit of our own), next onto the South Bank skate park, and finally ending up at Brian Haws peace camp opposite the Houses of Parliament where we made sure that every MP leaving saw our signs - which we're going to be doing this a lot more often. Members of We Are Change confronted former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan for a second time as well as Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric, about the very unbalanced axis of power ruling from behind the veil-- though the former heads were certainly in denial of that fact.
Greenspan had no comment about the secret shareholders of the Fed, which sources show include the Rockefellers and Rothschilds, nor its history of abuses (including its role in causing the Great Depression). Perhaps he has been shamed to silence when faced with members of the public ever since members of We Are Change "thanked" him for destroying the dollar a few months ago.
In 1967, Alan Greenspan wrote an essay entitled "Gold and Economic Freedom."This was 20 years before he would assume leadership as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.Obviously he had some ideas in '67 that he is reluctant to recall in '07, such as the fact that the Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned, and illegally backed by our federal taxes.In his essay, Greenspan states:
"And so the Federal Reserve System was organized in 1913. It consisted of twelve regional Federal Reserve banks nominally owned by private bankers, but in fact government sponsored, controlled, and supported. Credit extended by these banks is in practice (though not legally) backed by the taxing power of the federal government."
It stands to reason that Mr. Greenspan would know who the private bankers were that own the Federal Reserve, but in 2007 at the World Business Forum in NYC, he obviously didn't think the American people deserved to be let in on the secret.Even if Greenspan admitted to the stockholders' identities, there would be no way for Americans to confirm that, because the Fed is not legally bound to reveal the names of its stockholders.Somewhat later in the essay, Mr. Greenspan casually but clearly states that the Federal Reserve Bank caused the Great Depression.
"The 'Fed' succeeded; it stopped the gold loss, but it nearly destroyed the economies of the world in the process. The excess credit which the Fed pumped into the economy spilled over into the stock market -- triggering a fantastic speculative boom. Belatedly, Federal Reserve officials attempted to sop up the excess reserves and finally succeeded in braking the boom. But it was too late: by 1929 the speculative imbalances had become so overwhelming that the attempt precipitated a sharp retrenching and a consequent demoralizing of business confidence. As a result, the American economy collapsed."

Jack Welch was CEO of General Electric from 1981 to 2001.He retired on September 7th, 2001, 4 days before the attacks of 911.Jack seems to have no knowledge of WTC 7, or that GE's own NBC network rarely mentions its mysterious collapse.Mr. Welch is apparently also in the dark about"put options" that were placed on United and American Airlines just before 911 that ended up reaping millions for their purchasers.PossiblyMr. Welch believes that what you don't know can't hurt you.

Ohio CHANGE confronts Giuliani and gets ruffed up by "valet"

During an early morning stop on the Presidential campaign trail, Rudolph Giuliani was confronted by activists in downtown Cincinnati about his foreknowledge of the World Trade Center destruction and the subsequent coverup of the crime.
As Giuliani ducked into the posh Queen City Club, members of WeAreChange Ohio and Cincinnati 9/11 Truth peppered him with an array of questions about the largest mass murder in U.S. history. Amid the crowd, one activist yelled out, “Who told you that the towers were going to collapse?” But Giuliani refused to answer as he was quickly escorted into the building.
Giuliani held a breakfast fundraiser at the club, charging between $500 and $1000 per person at the event. Amid snow and freezing temperatures, the activists remained outside of the building until Giuliani emerged. As Giuliani approached his black sport utility vehicle, activist Cody D. Deeds asked the Presidential candidate about Michael Hess, an eyewitness to the bombing of World Trade Center 7. Giuliani refused to answer and stepped into his waiting vehicle.
Before the ex-Mayor of New York could get away from the fundraising scene, members of WeAreChange Ohio stepped in front of his S.U.V. and held up bold signs emblazoned with the words “9/11 Truth Now.” Giuliani was ultimately whisked away from the fundraiser in a small motorcade of four black automobiles.
The activists had many pertinent reasons for confronting Giuliani, as they explained to bystanders who watched the events unfold. The ex-Mayor had foreknowledge of the Twin Towers impending collapse, he aided in the systematic destruction of the World Trade Center evidence, and he callously discarded the remains of those who died on 9/11.

WASHINGTON - Federal officials said Monday they will investigate why a $1 billion Sept. 11 insurance fund created by Congress to cover claims of sick ground zero workers is fighting the cases in court rather than distributing money.
The World Trade Center Captive Insurance Company has come under increasing scrutiny from Congress and the federal government, as roughly 8,000 individual claims await judgment in the federal court system.
The inspector general for the Homeland Security Department indicated he intends to examine the issue, telling Congress in a report that his inquiry will determine why the insurance company "has chosen to litigate all claims instead of settling whenever possible."
According to documents sent to Congress and due to be released later this week, the inspector general's review will also determine "what procedures have been established to receive, review and pay medical, hospital, surgical and disability benefits to injured persons," as well as benefits to the relatives of those killed.
The $1 billion insurance company has also been challenged by Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Arlen Specter, R-Pa., the chairman and ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
On 11-11 @ 11am, well over a hundred truth-speakers and patriots from all around the region and the country, including brave Johnny Wave, gathered on a cliff in Santa Monica above the Pacific Ocean. They commenced to march through the streets chanting, teaching and handing out information. Ohio CHANGE threatened with "Patriot Act" at local mall
On Tuesday December 4th 2007. Two members of Ohio CHANGE: myself and Cody Deeds entered the Dayton Mall passing out 9/11 fliers. We walked in and politely handed some fliers out to shoppers. We were confronted within 10 minutes of coming in the mall. The mall cop warned us not to hand out anymore fliers or we would be kicked off the property. We politely complied with the order. Later on after doing some shopping and as we were on our way out, two girls and a guy asked us about our hoodies and we explained to them about wearechangeohio.com and the 9/11 movement. After the conversation we handed them a flier and proceeded out of the mall. As we were on our way out to the car in the parking lot a security car pulled up in front of us right as we were about to reach the car. She warned us about passing out the fliers and we explained to her that we were questioned about our hoodies at the entrance as we were leaving and were asked for a flier by the individuals. We politely complied with the female officer and headed to our car. However, as we were leaving she noticed we had a camera on us so she decided to block us from leaving in our car. She told us that we were under investigation and asked for our identification. I didn’t have my identification papers on me currently. We were told its under the Ohio Law to carry our papers on us. Cody told her that wasn’t under the Ohio law, then she turned around and told us “its under the Patriot Act, do you want to check again?” She then went on to ban us from the mall for half a year.
First responders gathered in front of the NYC Medical Examiner's office to protest how the ME has classified deaths seemingly related to Ground Zero illnesses. State Senator Eric Adams said he would introduce legislation making sure first responders who worked at Ground Zero will "get the same line-of-duty benefits" as September 11 victims.
Recently, the ME's office has not named two rescuers, who worked at the World Trade Center site after September 11 and later died from complications of illnesses (seemingly caused by the toxic dust), as victims of the September 11 attacks. In fact, a letter ME Dr. Charles Hirsch sent to one of the families narrowed the definition of a 9/11 death: "All persons killed at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, and others who died later from complications of injury or exposure directly caused by the collapse of the twin towers on that day are homicide victims."
The managing director of the company that eerily, and some charge suspiciously, were running drills identical to the events that unfolded on 7/7 in London had to flee from members of We Are Change UK this week when he was asked to explain who had hired his consultancy firm to run the exercise that coincided with the bombing.
