We Are Change Colorado Confronts Gary Hart on New World Order Vision

Aaron Dykes / JonesReport.com | March 31, 2008

Former Senator Gary Hart was confronted by several 9/11 truth groups during an appearance in Colorado, including WeAreChangeColorado.org, TruthAlliance.net and Colorado 9/11 Visibility.

Hart was touting his proposal for a Global Democracy Security Organization, another handy catch phrase for superceding the bounds of national sovereignty and consolidating power into a global body.

The former Senator was probed about his September 12, 2001 statements before the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) where he suggested that George W. Bush might "use [the 9/11] disaster" to carry out the New World Order. (see clip below)

Hart denied ever using the phrase 'New World Order' while ironically utilizing the same phrasing he used in his 2001 quote-- that the first President Bush 'used it once in 1991 and never again.'

Patronizing the audience, Hart claims that President H. W. Bush perhaps meant, simply, that 'the world of 1991 and beyond is not like the world of 1947-1991.' In other words, the period of global integration under Bretton Woods and United Nations formation has progressed into an era of greater global control.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6008954701454124662&hl=en

He similarly played dumb over inquiries about the North American Union-- a mid-term plan to integrate the Americas in conjunction with a global framework.

After claiming to have never heard of the North American Union, Hart asks the audience if they have heard of the concept-- and some half of the audience responds in the affirmative.

As a CFR member, Hart is undoubtedly familiar with the plans for regional integration-- he is averting the 'North American Union' query because no such plan formally bears that name.

He refuses to engage the relevant concerns about the shrinking balance of power on the part of the audience, telling members of We Are Change after the question & answer session that he is "too tired" to engage in conspiracy theories. Such a global conspiracy, he claims, would require dozens if not hundreds of conspirators and could not be kept secret.

BUSH, SR & GARY HART: THE NEW WORLD ORDER

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbRp7xlhgbo

Nevertheless, layers-upon-layers of concentric circles integrate the nations of the world into various global governance schemes. But Hart also downplayed concerns about the WTO, NAFTA, NATO expansion and etc.:

"It's not America's job to decrease its standard of living...we should be increasing opportunity while trying to help other countries."

Police arrest anti-war protester, 80, at mall

|

An 80-year-old church deacon was removed from the Smith Haven Mall Saturday in a wheelchair and arrested by police for refusing to remove a T-shirt protesting the Iraq War.

Police said that Don Zirkel, of Bethpage, was disturbing shoppers at the Lake Grove mall with his T-shirt, which had what they described as "graphic anti-war images." Zirkel, a deacon at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Wyandanch, said his shirt had the death tolls of American military personnel and Iraqis -- 4,000 and 1 million -- and the words "Dead" and "Enough." The shirt also has three blotches resembling blood splatters.

Mukasey: piracy funding terror

By JORDAN ROBERTSON, Associated Press Writer

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Attorney General Michael Mukasey warned Friday that the huge profits generated from piracy and counterfeiting are increasingly flowing into the coffers of terrorist groups.

In remarks to Silicon Valley executives at the Tech Museum of Innovation, Mukasey said the economy and national security of the United States are increasingly threatened by violations involving copyrighted software code, patented inventions and trademarked properties.

Terror groups are taking their cues from organized crime and increasingly funding their operations from counterfeiting and piracy, he said.

Further Reading for Ed Koch

Not surprisingly, former New York mayor Ed Koch denied and dismissed as “conspiracy theory” nearly all the points Alex made on his show earlier today. From the well documented fact the supposed 9/11 hijackers trained at U.S. military bases to the undisputed fact remains of bodies from the World Trade Center attack site were used by city workers to fill ruts and potholes, Koch refused to believe, preferring instead the manufactured fairy tale that is the self-serving government version of events.

Moreover, Koch seems to believe censoring free speech is acceptable, so long as it occurs in Europe. He asserts such will never happen in America, even as Congress continually attempts to pass “hate speech” legislation, as it tried to do with H.R. 254, titled, “The David Ray Hate Crimes Prevention Act.”

It is interesting Koch more or less admitted to We Are Change (see video) mayor Giuliani destroyed the 9/11 crime scene evidence but refuses to believe the macabre and documented fact the pulverized bodies of the victims were used to fill potholes.

We Are CHANGE confronts Zbigniew Brzezinski Again!

Brzezinski Mocks Questions Concerned with Bilderberg Secrecy

About a dozen members of We Are Change confronted Zbigniew Brzezinksi, former National Security Advisor under Carter, with questions about the secretive Bilderberg group, the consequences of setting up the Mujahideen and other questions which were largely ridiculed and rejected by Brzezinski as the queries of ‘conspiracy theorists.’

Luke Rudkowski previously confronted Brzezinski in an encounter that ended with him being ejected from the building for asking a pointed question.

Brzezinksi even commented sarcastically that the Bilderberg group indulges in "drinking the blood of the poor"– a comment which may illustrate the underlying disconnect between elites who wield extremely concentrated power and the effect of their policies on the remainder of the world, who largely have no power to control factors that affect them.

Brzezinski ignored the issues raised, including the pattern of false-flag provocation to start conflicts– instead taking the opportunity to belittle those who dared to ask such questions. He was obviously irritated that the sycophants did not turn out in droves for his talk at Columbia University in the same numbers that concerned members of We Are Change did.

The University ejected at least one member and deflected several other questions.

9/11 responders can sue

Court says Port Authority not immune from injured workers’ lawsuits

by andrew garib / metro new york

NEW YORK. John Feal said it was a step in the right direction, but he wasn’t thrilled that a federal court yesterday allowed lawsuits against the Port Authority on behalf of fellow sick and injured 9/11 responders.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of appeals said there was not enough information to justify immunity for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from injured workers’ suits. Nearly 8,000 emergency responders can now file lawsuits claiming they weren’t properly protected while working on Ground Zero after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 2001.

“It doesn’t mean they’ll be compensated any time soon,” he said of the responders. “They’re dying today.” The plaintiffs’ lawyers said that lawsuits would not be ready for court for years despite today’s ruling.

Sept. 11 cleanup workers hail federal court ruling

Former New York City police Officer Glen Klein, of Centereach, yesterday hailed a federal appeals court decision that may allow him and thousands of others to receive compensation for injuries they blame on their cleanup work at the World Trade Center.

Klein said living through the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks was horrifying, and he was angry when his workers' compensation claim was denied three times.

"I felt victimized a second time," Klein said.

About 8,000 trade center cleanup workers sued New York City, the Port Authority and almost two dozen contractors, charging they were made to work in unsafe conditions and demanding compensation. Claiming immunity from litigation, the city and the Port Authority asked federal judges to throw out the lawsuits.

Developer Sues to Win $12.3 Billion in 9/11 Attack
By ANEMONA HARTOCOLLIS
Published: March 27, 2008

Larry A. Silverstein, who has won nearly $4.6 billion in insurance payments to cover his losses and help him rebuild at the World Trade Center site, is seeking $12.3 billion in damages from airlines and airport security companies for the 9/11 attack.

Mr. Silverstein, the developer of ground zero, sought the damages, whose amount was not previously known, in a claim filed in 2004, that says the airlines and airport security companies failed to prevent terrorists from hijacking the planes used to destroy the buildings.

His case was consolidated last week with similar, earlier lawsuits brought by families of some victims of the attack and by other property owners. But in seeking $12.3 billion, he is by far the biggest claimant in the litigation.

DHS Begins Collecting 10 Fingerprints from International Visitors at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport

Release Date: March 25, 2008

For Immediate Release
Office of the Press Secretary

CBP Public Affairs 212-514-8324

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced today that it has begun collecting additional fingerprints from international visitors arriving at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The change is part of the department’s upgrade from two- to 10-fingerprint collection to enhance security and facilitate legitimate travel by more accurately and efficiently establishing and verifying visitors’ identities.

“Biometrics have revolutionized our ability to prevent dangerous people from entering the United States since 2004. Our upgrade to 10?fingerprint collection builds on our success, enabling us to focus more attention on stopping potential security risks,” US?VISIT Director Robert Mocny said.

For more than four years, U.S. Department of State (DOS) consular officers and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have been collecting biometrics—digital fingerprints and a photograph—from all non-U.S. citizens between the ages of 14 and 79, with some exceptions, when they apply for visas or arrive at U.S. ports of entry.

WeAreChange confronts Senators Phil Gramm, John McCain

JonesReport.com | March 24, 2008

In the third installment from a McCain campaign stop, where We Are Change already confronted Fox News talking heads Bo Dietl and Carl Cameron, the activist group approached war hawk Senators Phil Graham and John McCain in the continued pursuit of 9/11 truth.

We Are Change politely asked Sen. Graham ‘what he thought about the family members call for a new 9/11 investigation,’ but Graham immediately dismissed the question and fled for his vehicle.

One of Graham’s lackeys berated the group, shouting, "You’re gonna blame Phil Graham? Don’t be an idiot… Yeah, Phil Graham knocked down Building 7" before joining him in the car. He mockingly suggested that an invisible person knocked down the third WTC skyscraper.

So Graham & co. know full well about the ‘unexplainable’ WTC7 but immediately brush off calls for a new investigation? No wonder these politicians keep getting confronted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvmhqvAm9yo

McCain, who clings to the official 9/11 story and falsely believes (ignorant of Sunni vs. Shi’ite tensions) that Iran is training al Qaeda, has already whole-heartedly rejected calls for a new investigation– a move that insults the victim’s family members, first responders and other survivors who want their questions and the official story’s many contradictions reconciled.

McCain, author of the forward to Popular Mechanics’ Debunking 9/11 Myths– offers them no such hope of any truth about that day. He is equally unconcerned about the effects of bad intelligence in regards to both Iraq and Iran.

The stubborn GOP nominee-to-be was greeted with chants demanding ‘9/11 truth now’ and a flurry of signs and banners after he refused to speak with We Are Change.

WeAreChangeLA meets Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson: "The 9-11 Commission's findings have a number of imperfections..."

Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson was in town on Wednesday, and Garko and I from WeAreChangeLA got a chance to listen to an interesting conversation and ask him about 9-11. Ian Masters, the moderator, defensively jumped the gun on my question about 9-11. Wilkerson dodged the question on whether he supports a genuine investigation of 911. What he did give was an insightful perspective on the "totally useless" intelligence community. I still think that he is harboring serious anger at Cheney and serious resentment at the intelligence community. I want to know what he knows and thinks about 9-11.

He started out, after saying that it was total news to him that all these CIA vets had questioned the 9-11 Commission, by stating that "the 9-11 Commission's findings have a number of imperfections..." He then went on to describe the uselessness of the hi-tech intelligence apparatus. I agree with him on much of his statement, but he spun away from answering the yes or no new investigation question fairly skillfully.

I think I should have gone a bit more forcefully at the facts of 9-11 rather than bringing up CIA vets to get a clearer response from Wilkerson. What do you think? What are the most effective ways to ask different people questions? What are we after?

There may be more of this talk and encounter later...

Before/After +bit of talk

Before asking him about his take on a new 9-11 investigation, I asked Colonel Wilkerson to meditate on the possibility that nefarious may be an understatement to describe people who honored the coming of the spring of '05... of '03 by manufacturing an aggressive war...

Here's a very interesting clip about "intelligence" and the run-up to the Iraqi invasion:

Wilkerson doesn't have alot of respect for Feith. He also listed Feith with about 5 other people who he thinks should and could be imprisoned after a new president and Congress are elected:

We Are Change Confronts Carl Cameron on Media’s 9/11 Truth Ignorance

Aaron Dykes / JonesReport.com | March 21, 2008

We Are Change activists spoke with Fox News reporter Carl Cameron after holding signs behind one of his broadcasts (to insist on the coverage mainstream media won’t give).

Although Cameron maintained that he was an empty vessel unable to influence any coverage of 9/11 truth, he seemed sympathetic and held a long dialogue about the under-reported and often mischaracterized ‘ 9/11 truth movement’.

Cameron posed– at least off camera– as true investigative reporter, curious and considerate of evidence pointing towards cover-up and crime.

Nevertheless, he dashed hopes of Fox reporting any real news. “What do you want me to say?… It’s not anything I’m remotely involved in. I cover presidential politics.”

Water Adivsory Board Educated in Denver on Fluoride Dangers by We Are Change Colorado

By Jonathan | TruthAlliance.net | Mar. 20, 2008

The Advisory Board to the City and County of Denver's water treatment was confronted by We Are Change Colorado about the dangers of Fluoride today March 20th, 2008.

Watch the WeAreChangeColorado video below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWFnyT2GGyY

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) of Denver Water is a 10-member volunteer committee whose function is to advise water department staff and commissioners on issues while encouraging and coordinating public participation in the water department's policy making process.

The CAC exists as a result of the Colorado Foothills Agreement. In the late 1970s, Denver Water found itself in need of a new treatment plant and operating reservoir. Public concern over growth issues and potential environmental impact in the canyon where the reservoir was to be built led to the Foothills Agreement -- a pact between Denver Water, federal agencies, elected officials and the environmental community. Among other things, terms of the 1978 agreement required the formation of a citizen group charged with representing public interests.

The Denver Board of Water Commissioners recognizes that there is a need for full and timely public participation in the decision making process of the Board on important Board decisions and, to insure that participation, it has agreed to create a Citizens' Advisory Committee with a substantial degree of independence. Under the Denver City Charter, the Board has not and legally cannot delegate to the committee any responsibility placed upon the Board by law.

Denver passes law that states you need a 'permit' to protest in the free speech zone,

From WeAreCHANGE Colorado

Instead of allowing us to protest at the DNC this year in Denver, they issued a 'lottery' from all the groups that wanted to get permits. In this state, they passed a law JUST FOR THE DNC, that you need to have a permit to protest, hold up a sign, say anything, ANYTHING!

The city is fencing off the convention center at a large radius, anyone wanting to get near the convention has to be bussed in. The gates to the fencing opens, buses enter, and the gates close. You need to have Access passes to be near the gates and protest permits to protest at the free speech zones, clear across the area near Colfax, about 2 blocks from the convention center.

AFTER reading about how Internet companies like Google, Microsoft and Yahoo collect information about people online and use it for targeted advertising, one New York assemblyman said there ought to be a law.

So he drafted a bill, now gathering support in Albany, that would make it a crime — punishable by a fine to be determined — for certain Web companies to use personal information about consumers for advertising without their consent.

And because it would be extraordinarily difficult for the companies that collect such data to adhere to stricter rules for people in New York alone, these companies would probably have to adjust their rules everywhere, effectively turning the New York legislation into national law.

Russia, U.S. fail to agree on missile shield

Tue Mar 18, 2008

By Kristin Roberts and Christian Lowe

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia and the United States failed on Tuesday to find common ground over U.S. plans to deploy parts of a missile defence shield in eastern Europe.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he had agreed with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after six hours of talks in Moscow to study further U.S. proposals aimed at allaying Russian concerns about the shield.

The U.S. plan has plunged relations between the two countries to a post-Cold War low and negotiations on the proposals have already been running for almost six months.

"On the matter of principle the positions of our two sides have not changed," Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said after taking part in the talks with Rice, Lavrov and U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

Cheney says U.S. will complete mission in Iraq

Tue Mar 18, 2008

By Tabassum Zakaria

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq (Reuters) - The United States intends to complete its mission in Iraq and will not allow the country to become a staging ground for attacks on Americans, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney said on Tuesday.

"All Americans can be certain that we intend to complete the mission so that another generation of Americans does not have to come back here and do it again," Cheney told about 3,000 U.S. troops at Balad Air Base 70 km (45 miles) north of Baghdad.

The war in Iraq, which enters its sixth year this week, is deeply unpopular in the United States and has contributed to President George W. Bush's low popularity ratings. It is a major issue in the November U.S. presidential election.

McCain says U.S. pullout from Iraq would boost Iran

Tue Mar 18, 2008

By Suleiman al-Khalidi

AMMAN (Reuters) - U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain said on Tuesday that a U.S. troop build up in Iraq was succeeding and a premature withdrawal would dramatically enhance Iranian influence in the region.

McCain was speaking in Jordan, where he held talks with King Abdullah, after a visit to Iraq where he met Iraqi leaders and U.S military officials as part of a Senate Armed Services Committee fact-finding mission.

"If we pull out of Iraq ... then obviously the Iranian influence is dramatically increased, al Qaeda has greater influence and endangers the region dramatically, and the United States's image and security challenges are dramatically increased," said McCain.

High oil prices to keep U.S. dollar on ropes

By Steven C. Johnson - Analysis

Mon Mar 17, 2008

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The longer oil prices remain above $100, the worse things are likely to get for the U.S. dollar.

With the greenback hitting all-time lows and no end to its slide in sight, oil exporters are likely to shift a larger share of their revenues into other currencies.

That weakens the dollar further, making dollar-denominated oil more costly for American consumers. Inflation fears also prompt investors to buy commodities as a hedge and favor strong currencies over the weak dollar.

It's what Morgan Stanley global currency strategist Stephen Jen called a "vicious circle" that can be very hard to break.

"A lot of the premium in commodity prices now is directly correlated to dollar weakness, and you need to see a dollar turnaround for oil prices to pull back and U.S. growth to start to pick up again," said Greg Salvaggio, an FX trader at Tempus Consulting in Washington.

Iraq invasion was "successful endeavor": Cheney

By Tabassum Zakaria

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney on Monday declared the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq a "successful endeavor" during a visit to Baghdad, on the same day a woman suicide bomber killed 40 people.

"If you look back on those five years it has been a difficult, challenging but nonetheless successful endeavor ... and it has been well worth the effort," Cheney, an architect of the invasion, said after meeting Iraqi leaders.

The Iraq war is a major issue in the U.S. presidential campaign. Entering its sixth year this week, it has cost the United States $500 billion. U.S. Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton said on Monday the final bill could be $1 trillion.

Tens of thousands of Iraqis and nearly 4,000 U.S. soldiers have been killed. The military said two more soldiers died on Monday when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle near Baghdad.

Clinton says "we cannot win" Iraq war

By Jeff Mason

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Hillary Clinton charged on Monday the Iraq war may end up costing Americans $1 trillion and further strain the economy, as she made her case for a prompt U.S. troop pullout from a war "we cannot win."

This week marks the fifth anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, but voters now say the economy is their top issue in the campaign for the November presidential election.

Clinton, the former first lady who is trying to convince voters she has foreign policy gravitas, criticized both her rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, and the Republicans' choice, Arizona Sen. John McCain.

Florida Democrats drop bid to stage primary re-run

MIAMI (Reuters) - Florida's Democratic Party said on Monday it would no longer push for a rerun of the state's invalid primary election to pick a presidential nominee, leaving a decision on what to do with the state's delegates entirely to the national party.

The chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party, Karen Thurman, said thousands of voters had sent in messages expressing their preference after the Democratic National Committee invalidated the January 29 balloting to punish Florida for holding its primary early.

"The consensus is clear: Florida doesn't want to vote again. So we won't," Thurman said in a statement.

Bush, Praising Fed’s Move, Faces Criticism

Published: March 17, 2008

WASHINGTON — As President Bush welcomed the Federal Reserve’s sweeping intervention in the financial markets, his administration faced accusations Monday that it supported the bailout of a prestigious investment bank while doing little to address the hardships faced by Americans facing foreclosures on their homes.

After conferring with his economic aides at the White House in the morning in the first of two meetings on the turmoil, Mr. Bush again sought to project optimism at a time of financial turbulence following the Fed’s brokering of the takeover of Bear Stearns by JPMorgan Chase.

He singled out Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. for praise, saying that he had shown “the country and the world that the United States is on top of the situation.”

Dow’s Rise Masks Turmoil in Markets

Published: March 18, 2008

With the Dow Jones industrial average up slightly more than 21 points by the end of trading Monday on the New York Stock Exchange, it may have looked like a calm day on Wall Street.

But under the surface, the scene was far from serene. After policy makers hastily arranged a fire sale of the embattled investment bank Bear Stearns to JPMorgan Chase over the weekend, stocks and other financial instruments fluctuated wildly during much of the day as investors started worrying about who and what would be next on the dock. Traders beat down stocks like Lehman Brothers and commodities like oil and wheat.

After a shaky opening, the worst fears of a market plunge were avoided. Although Fed officials do not put much stock in the performance of markets in a single day, they took some comfort from the fact that many markets were relatively stable on Monday following the initial fall.

reddit: http://reddit.com/info/6c4jc/comments/

Geraldo Rivera: "I think that this bomber isn't Al Qaeda, isn't anything like that... He's more like those '9/11 was an inside job' kind of guys... Protesting in a violent way, but in a violent way almost like they eco-terrorists... where they don't intend to inflict casualties."

I am presenting this clip from the FOX News Channel 'Fox & Friends' program, (broadcast LIVE, 7am, EST, March 7, 2008), for purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting and research as defined in Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107. This is not even a 5 minute clip. (Go to the 2:17 mark.)

On March 6, 2008, a US Armed Forces recruiting station was bombed by an unknown individual. It took Geraldo Rivera just over 24 hours to start planting a notion in the heads of millions of FOX News viewers that "9/11 was an inside job kind of guys" were likely responsible for the bombing.

This is a dangerous and false meme that Rivera is planting in the heads of millions of people. And as the Big Lebowski would say, "This agression will not stand... man!"

911blogger.com utterly rejects the use of violence to communicate anything. By anyone. That includes Geraldo Rivera. Rivera is infamous partly because he has built his notoriety on the violent incident which occurred on his television show in 1988.

A brawl broke out on the set between racists purposefully invited to the show, and some other guests, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the violence was expected. "A November 1988 cover of Newsweek carried a close-up of his bashed face next to a headline reading, "Trash TV: From the Lurid to the Loud, Anything Goes."

FOX News says "We Love to Hear From Our Viewers!"

Let's take them up on the offer. After all, you're a viewer now... My suggestion is that we all ask for a retraction or apology for this outrageous comment, and Geraldo should have on the air David Ray Griffin to talk about his great new book, 9/11 Contradictions.

High Tide: The Ron Paul Revolution Continues

Grassroots effort stresses continuing the Ron Paul Revolution, restoring the spirit of freedom in the country and turning back the tide of sprawling foreign wars and disastrous economic policy

The High Tide could be a lifting anthem for the Ron Paul Revolution as it seeks ways to voice its message in the post-campaign era. The video features high quality 3-D animation and Dr. Ron Paul's voice. It's stunning imagery dramatically portrays the dark landscape of spreading wars and an unfolding economic wasteland that have resulted from bad policy.

It carries also the spirit of freedom that Ron Paul hoped his campaign would rekindle-- and in many ways already has-- as people across the country are now sparking debate over scaling back government power and following constitutionally-based policies.

Grassroots supporter Nate Evans (ArcFx, WeAreChange.org) donated months of work to put together the 3-D promo (click here for high quality) that will have to settle for underscoring the high-point of an unusual presidential campaign that has now receded from hopes of winning the GOP nomination. Nevertheless, the campaign succeeded in shedding light on the skewed policies of the phony candidates who shared the stage with him. His disenfranchisement in polls, electronic voting and media coverage demonstrated the manipulation over so-called free elections.

Ron Paul recently conceded that "convention victory" had been lost, but that the fight would continue. “Many victories have been achieved due to your hard work and enthusiasm,” said Paul.

“I don’t mind playing a key role in the revolution, but it has to be more than a Ron Paul revolution,” he said. Somehow, that is reflected in this animated video that transcends the mere man Ron Paul is individually and elevates instead the ideas and history his policy is based upon.

So, what will be the high mark of the Ron Paul Revolution, in their campaign for the presidency? What is its the lasting impact, and in what form will it continue?

Paul urges the continuation of meet-up groups, and even campaign races in effort to gain more delegates and take small victories where they are still available in the election, if only to stretch the political muscle for a future contest.

“At the rate our economy is slipping, we will likely see the disintegration of the American empire,” said Paul. “Today’s events should be seen as a tremendous opportunity to change our country for the good.”

The Ron Paul Revolution intends to make an lasting impression when it will march together in Washington. Which direction that will take us, is the next step.

Pentagon Cites Tapes Showing Interrogations

By MARK MAZZETTI and SCOTT SHANE
Published: March 13, 2008

WASHINGTON — The Defense Department is conducting an extensive review of the videotaping of interrogations at military facilities from Iraq to Guantánamo Bay, and so far it has identified nearly 50 tapes, including one that showed what a military spokesman described as the forcible gagging of a terrorism suspect.

The Pentagon review was begun in late January after the Central Intelligence Agency acknowledged that it had destroyed its own videotapes of harsh interrogations conducted by C.I.A. officers, an action that is now the subject of criminal and Congressional investigations.

The review was intended in part to establish clearer rules for any videotaping of interrogations, Defense officials said.
