Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change caught up with President Jimmy Carter today at a Barnes & Noble bookstore located in Manhattan.

After Rudkowski referenced Operation Ajax and the CIA orchestrated overthrow of Mohammed Mosaddeq in Iran in 1953 via staged terror attacks, he asked Carter if he feared a staged-provocation for war with Iran.

Carter responded, “No, I don’t think lately that war is as likely as it was six months ago,” adding, “I hope not.”

This is an important admission on the part of a former president, a trilateralist and government insider, and serves as further evidence the neocons may indeed attack Iran, as promised, before Bush leaves office.

Gary Talis, of We Are Change, then asked the former president if he believed there should be a new investigation into the collapse of WTC Building 7 on the afternoon of 9/11.

Carter replied, “Yes, it sounds good.”

Rudkowski then asked Carter about Afghanistan and the Taliban. Carter said issuing a directive secretly aiding the Taliban in 1979 was “a very important thing for me to do” in order to counter the Soviets. Carter went on to describe the CIA organized and Saudi and Egyptian funded Mujahideen group as “freedom fighters.” Eventually a faction of the Mujahideen would break away and become al-Qaeda, another CIA contrivance put to use in the Balkans as well as Afghanistan.

In fact, as Zbigniew Brzezinski, Carter’s former national security adviser (and high ranking trilateralist under aegis of David Rockefeller) told France’s Le Nouvel Observateur in January, 1998, this aid “was going to induce a Soviet military intervention” in support of the pro-Soviet government in Kabul. “We didn’t push the Russians to intervene, but we knowingly increased the probability that they would.” Brzezinski’s “secret operation was an excellent idea… it had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap… [and] giving to the USSR its Vietnam war.”

Brzezinski also warned the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of the risk that a false-flag event could be used to kickstart a war with Iran in February of 2007.

We Are Change confronted the former National Security Adviser on two separate occasions to probe the meaning of his warning and to discuss the theoretical provocation’s similarity to 9/11, which launched two wars in the middle east and was blamed on a radical group that Brzezinksi himself had helped to found during the Carter Administration.

In the first instance, Rudkowski was told to ’sit down and shut up’ before being removed for his question. The second time, a large group of We Are Change members asked questions during an event at Columbia and were ridiculed again and again by Brzezinski.

(CBS) New York City's 9/11 "Wall Of Heroes" will now include names of police officers who died well after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The city will honor eight officers who succumbed to illnesses related to working amid the toxic debris at ground zero, the New York Post reports.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Mayor Michael Bloomberg will preside over a May 9 ceremony paying tribute to eight fallen officers who died from a litany of diseases linked to their work at the site of the World Trade Center, the Post reports.

Nate from Portland caught up with Clinton during another campaign event. He ask the former president about his feelings on the Bush administrations efforts to investigate 9/11.

"Do you mean do I agree with all the Bush conclusions? I don't, but I don't believe there's any chance that 9/11 was an inside job," Clinton responded.

After reiterating that 9/11 'is not an inside job,' Clinton stares bizarrely into the bleacher bars, opting not to respond to a follow-up question.

Of course, part of the story of obfuscation and omission in the 9/11 Commission investigation includes episodes of non-cooperation from both the Bush and Clinton administrations-- so it's really no wonder that the reports' findings cannot be trusted.

Investigators: Millions in Iraq contracts never finished due to delays, poor performance

Millions of dollars of lucrative Iraq reconstruction contracts were never finished because of excessive delays, poor performance or other factors, including failed projects that are being falsely described by the U.S. government as complete, federal investigators say.

The audit released Sunday by Stuart Bowen Jr., the special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction, provides the latest snapshot of an uneven reconstruction effort that has cost U.S. taxpayers more than $100 billion. It also comes as several lawmakers have said they want the Iraqis to pick up more of the cost of reconstruction.

Members of We Are Change UK questioned ex-BBC reporter Phil Hayton about the early reporting of WTC 7's collapse during a speaking appearance.

Hayton failed to recollect even being in the studio on the day of 9/11-- at first-- but then recalls the situation when it is described in detail, including the actions of Jane Standley, who reported the collapse some 26 minutes in advance with WTC Building 7 still visible in the background.

"A lot of eyebrows were raised," We Are Change reporters point out in summary, because many saw it as a clear controlled demolition, including a number of engineers.

Hayton responded, pointing out that he was not aware of the situation with WTC 7. "This sounds so significant-- I'm just amazed I didn't know about this... This is completely news to me."

"So, is there no official explanation?" Hayton further probed.

We Are Change continues to explain the delayed NIST report on WTC 7 as well as the response from a BBC editor who claimed 9/11 tapes were "lost" in a 'cock-up.'

"I sense that you think there's a conspiracy here-- but you might be right," Hayton concluded.

On a previous occasion, We Are Change UK reporters contacted Jane Standley by phone about the telling incident. Standley, unlike Hayton, was not surprised by the revelation, but became uncomfortable and hurriedly ended the conversation, only commenting that she had been "harassed" about the situation already.

Surely, it is clear that neither Standley nor Hayton were 'in on a conspiracy'-- rather they were used and fed information. However, Hayton seems willing to admit it while Standley has thus far been unable to answer for the suspicious incident ahead of the unexplained collapse.

The suspicion surrounding early media reporting of WTC7's collapse-- which Aaron Brown of CNN also announced-- only exacerbates the demolition apparent that many police, fire fighters and other emergency workers were told about in advance and which many other news anchors described as being like a 'deliberately destroyed' building.

Further, WTC lease holder Larry Silverstein said that the building was "pulled" and rescue worker Kevin McPadden has reported hearing a countdown to Building 7's demolition.

As predicted, Neo-Cons across the country enthusiastically lapped up the complete smear story put out by the New York Post in which it was alleged activist Gary Talis beat up a wheelchair-bound girl, and resolved to hire hit men to hunt down and commit violence against Talis despite the fact that he was the victim of the assault.

Neo-Cons have been quick to denounce We Are Change’s version of events because their video was broken during the fracas and does not show the incident, but they are perfectly willing to swallow wholesale the tripe served up by the notoriously bias and inaccurate Neo-Con rag The New York Post.

Where is their video of the incident? Where is the proof that Talis beat up a wheelchair-bound girl? There is none whatsoever and all the eyewitness testimony confirms that it was Talis who was assaulted.

Every single hit piece obsesses about Talis "screaming obscenities" when no evidence of this can be heard on camera and eyewitnesses assert no foul words were uttered. Apparently, Neo-Cons think that simply talking to Her Royal Highness Laura Bush without permission is an obscenity.

Neo-Cons have also failed to combine their limited collective brain cells and figure out why a demonstrator would attack a disabled girl in a wheelchair in public and how this would bring any positive attention to their message.

As these videos attest, assaulting people in wheelchairs is normally a forte of the police themselves.

Neo-Cons across the board jumped on the NY Post story - a complete tissue of lies - to express their bloodlust for physically attacking peaceful protesters.

"If you happen to live in New York City, I’d like you to remember the name of German Talis. If you happen to run across him, be sure to greet him heartily, then slap him right upside his cowardly little head," snaps one blogger, before scoffing, "The most embarrassing part of the story for him is that the girl wasn’t even really injured. The guy can’t punch hard enough to hurt a girl in a wheelchair? What a pussy."

Hey moron - the reason the girl wasn’t injured is because Talis never laid a finger on her, but he did get punched several times in the head by her Neo-Con father for his trouble, who also used his daughter’s wheelchair as a battering ram, according to eyewitnesses.

Why was John Lovetro’s wife begging him to stop beating Talis if it was Talis metering out the assault? Why would she beg her husband to stop if he was only protecting his disabled daughter?

Less zealous debunkers at the notorious JREF Forum were having trouble reconciling their desire to celebrate the propaganda victory of the alleged beating of the wheelchair-bound girl with the fact that the New York Post is the most deceitful and bias Neo-Con newspaper in the whole of America and is basically the tabloid print version of Fox News, owned as it is by fake conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

"The New York Post has been criticized since the beginning of Murdoch’s ownership for what many consider its lurid headlines and sensationalism," according to Wikipedia, which lists numerous examples of smear campaigns and outright lies engaged in by the newspaper.

The Post is just a conduit and an attack dog for Murdoch to unleash on his political enemies, while it censors any negative information about his favored friends, those bastions of pro-American conservatism - the Communist Chinese government.

According to a survey conducted by Pace University in 2004, the New York Post was rated the least credible major news outlet in New York.

Never mind the fact that the Post has a track record for accuracy that is on a par with the National Enquirer - for Neo-Cons this standard of journalism will suffice for provoking pangs of mental masturbation about attacking anti-war demonstrators because of their deluded belief that they are somehow defending the country and maintaining their soiled, phony, waving plastic flags made in China patriotism.

In reality, We Are Change, who have devoted years of their lives to supporting 9/11 heroes and first responders, have more genuine patriotism in their little fingers than these charlatans can ever hope to obtain.

Over on the Bush-worshipping alter of neoconservatism Free Republic, respondents wasted no time in expressing their salivating intention to hire hitmen to go after Talis.

"Maybe someone should pay some mob thugs to give this vermin a good working over," wrote one.

"I wish I could’ve been there for that. Of course, I’d probably be in jail right now, with a smile on my face," laments another thug.

Others made it clear that if they would have been on the scene, they would have literally "murdered" Talis.

Perhaps the zeal to attack and kill the "enemies of America" (people engaging in their right to free speech) comes from some stunted small penis syndrome-type lament at the fact that the majority of these Neo-Cons are armchair quarterbacks who have never actually served in any conflict, just like their hero chickenhawks Bush and Cheney.

So to compensate, they like to grandstand with their phony macho-man act and celebrate the death of America by boldly proclaiming how they would like to rip apart peace demonstrators - safely behind the protection of a computer screen and an Internet forum.

In reality these anti-American scum have balls the size of peanuts and would cower in fear at the first sign of trouble.

The NY Post is facing a lawsuit after it brazenly smeared a 9/11 truth activist for attacking a wheelchair-bound woman in New York last night, when in fact it was the activist himself who was beaten up by the girl’s father according to eyewitnesses.

In the most disgusting, inaccurate and bias hit piece we have seen to date, Post writer Philip Messing claims that 18-year-old Maureen Lovetro, who has cerebral palsy, was assaulted by We Are Change member German (Gary) Talis in an article entitled BUSH BASHER SMASHES DISABLED TEEN: COPS during an event attended by Laura and Jenna Bush.

The story even features photos of the wheelchair-bound Lovetro in a crass attempt to elicit more outrage towards Talis.

The libelous smear has also been picked up by Neo-con cheerleader Michelle Malkin on her Hot Air blog.

The fact that numerous eyewitnesses, who were ignored by New York police, assert that it was Talis himself who was the victim of an assault metered out by the girl’s father - John Lovetro - leaves Talis with no option but to pursue a lawsuit against the New York Post, as he stated on The Alex Jones Show today.

"Both articles depict Gary as a heartless villain, attacking a handicapped girl—all of which is the furthest from the truth," states a We Are Change press release. "Gary did not and has never lifted a hand toward any citizen, as confirmed by all witnesses. We will be releasing a video interview of Gary after his release from central bookings explaining exactly what took place, followed by the witnesses, all of whom corroborate his statement."

"John Lovetro, the girl’s father, struck Gary leaving a flesh wound under his right eye. Gary, aware of his rights, did not at any time defend himself and yet remains the victim, now facing charges of 3rd degree assault. We Are Change will pursue legal action against all individuals and organizations that violate our civil rights. We will not be physically assaulted, and we will not stand for slander and lies," concludes the statement.

We Are Change are asking civil rights attorneys to contact them at pursuitofliberty@gmail.com to offer help.

Eyewitness Dianne Lipson told this website that John Lovetro made aggressive gestures towards Talis, cocking and waving his fist, before pursuing Talis into the side of a building.

Lovetro began punching Talis repeatedly as Lovetro’s wife begged him to stop and the girl in the wheelchair began crying.

"The man punched Gary over and over again," states Lipson, adding, "From what I observed, the man who assaulted Gary was looking for a fight, and he actually exploited his physically challenged daughter, steering her wheelchair toward Gary, in order to fabricate an excuse to physically vent his anger."

Lipson attempted to submit a witness statement to police but was ignored.

The NY Post article also states that Talis shouted obscenities, which is completely contradicted by witness testimony.

The controversy follows a similar incident last week where a member of We Are Change Ireland was attacked by an MEP, only for the mainstream media to later report that the MEP had been the victim of the assault.

A smear campaign is in full-swing on behalf of the Neo-Cons and the corporate media to demonize 9/11 truth and anti-war activists as dangerous, when in fact they are the victims of physical attacks and abuse on behalf of authorities and individuals like John Lovetro.

Contact the New York Post and demand they offer an immediate retraction.

We Are Change Activist Framed for Assaulting Handicapped Girl

It was apparently not enough Gary Talis was attacked and punched by John Lovetro for making the mistake of asking the women of the Bush crime family a question about 9/11 truth and the illegal and immoral Iraq occupation.

Now, according to the neocon newspaper the New York Post, Talis was “arrested after he punched” the “wheelchair-bound girl whose parents had told him to shut up” for “heckling,” i.e., asking questions of the Bush women.

As Jason Bermas noted on the Alex Jones Show today, Gary Talis is non-violent and not likely to attack or yell obscenities at a girl with cerebral palsy confined to a wheelchair. But this is precisely what the New York Post and a gaggle of neocon blogs and websites claim:

They [Talis and We Are Change activists] had been in the audience to hear the Bushes talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.”

“He began yelling about Iraq and Iran at Jenna Bush. She was waving at the crowd. I told the guy, ‘What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books,’ ” said John Lovetro. “He was unperturbed. I said, ‘Get out of here! You’re being a moron!’ ”

The next thing he knew, Talis was allegedly punching Maureen - a fan of the first lady since meeting her in 2004.

“I heard my daughter hysterical yelling, ‘He’s hitting me!’ ” said Wendy Lovetro.

“He punched her on the shoulder blades, but that wasn’t enough,” she said.

“My husband pushed the wheelchair away from him and he reached beyond my husband and began pounding my daughter in the thigh.”

The two men fought as the president’s family drove off. Cops broke them up and busted Talis on charges of assault and resisting arrest.

Maureen was not seriously injured.

	According to Gary Talis, Maureen Lovetro, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was used by her father as a weapon.

This account is at odds with a version presented by other witnesses. Dianne Lipson emailed the following account to Jones Report editor and journalist, Aaron Dykes:

The event was over but the Bush ladies were still in the venue, the 92nd Street Y. I was with Gary and another member of WAC. People were being told to wait behind a secret service agent or to cross the street. A small group of people were gathered behind the agent to catch a glimpse of the Bush ladies when they would be going from the building into a waiting black van.

Gary was exercising his free speech rights, talking to the crowd. The mood of the crowd was hostile toward Gary. Among the waiting crowd was a man in a blue jacket and a woman, obviously his wife, and their teenage daughters, one of whom was in a wheelchair. The man in the blue jacket was taking particular offense at what Gary was saying. He even made threatening gestures at Gary. At one point he cocked his fist at Gary, with an odd little half smile on his face, like he wanted trouble. Gary and the man had words. I was very surprised to see this man make threatening gestures at Gary while his family, including his daughter in the wheelchair, were right there.

The Bush ladies came out. Gary asked them how they felt knowing that people thought that Bush was responsible for 9/11. He had to shout, as the Bush ladies were some yards away.

Then it was all over, the van pulled out and people were walking away.

The man in the blue jacket was pushing his daughter’s wheelchair. Instead of going straight up the street, he veered over to the side of the building to where Gary was. Next thing I know, he caught Gary in a corner of the building and was whaling on him, saying that Gary had touched his daughter. I know Gary, and he would never do something like that. Gary’s instinct is to protect women and children.

He had Gary in the corner, and was punching him and punching him. If Gary managed to defend himself I did not see it. The man’s wife was pleading with him to stop. The daughter in the wheelchair was in tears.

Then the police came and put Gary, not the man who assaulted him, but Gary, in handcuffs.
I went to the 19th precinct to make a statement. They told me to wait. The man who assaulted Gary was in the lobby area where I was, not back where Gary was in custody.

A policeman photographed Gary’s assailant several times, then let him go.

I did not see a mark on this man. Later I heard he had a split lip, but I did not see a mark on him. Gary, I heard, was bruised up. I am not surprised. The man punched Gary over and over again.

So I waited over 2 hours, only to be told that I could not make a statement. I still don’t quite fully understand why.

From what I observed, the man who assaulted Gary was looking for a fight, and he actually exploited his physically challenged daughter, steering her wheelchair toward Gary, in order to fabricate an excuse to physically vent his anger.

Lipson’s account is completely at odds with the version published in the New York Post, a well known venue for attacking truth and patriot movement activists.

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show, Dianne Lipson reiterated her account and told Jason Bermas she fears for Gary in the wake of the New York Post’s hit piece.

Gary Talis also appeared on Jones’ show. He emphatically stated he did not assault the handicapped girl. In fact, he said, John Lovetro used his daughter “as a weapon” against him, ramming the wheelchair into his kneecaps and accusing him of attacking the girl. Talis told Bermas he believes the attack was coordinated.

Now that the neocon media network and blogs have kicked into high gear, the larger, neocon-friendly corporate media will likely characterize Talis and We Are Change at large as violent and dangerous, exactly as Glenn Beck, Morning Joe, Geraldo Rivera, and Bill O’Reilly have suggested, sans any evidence whatsoever. Now they have “evidence” in the form of a skewered and biased reported published in the New York Post and swiftly echoed by the likes of Michelle Malkin, the concentration camp apologist and neocon who routinely appears on Faux News.

The great enemy of the republic, the media, has struck again. “BUSH BASHER SMASHES DISABLED TEEN” is the headline from today’s April 24, 2008 New York Post Article: in which Germin (Gary) Talis is slandered by reporter Philip Messing. “BDS Outbreak: Anti-war nut attacks wheelchair-bound girl” is the heading from Neo-con cheerleader Michelle Malkin.

Both articles depict Gary as a heartless villain, attacking a handicapped girl—all of which is the furthest from the truth. Gary did not and has never lifted a hand toward any citizen, as confirmed by all witnesses. We will be releasing a video interview of Gary after his release from central bookings explaining exactly what took place, followed by the witnesses, all of whom corroborate his statement. It is without question that Gary is the victim of Assault. This poor girl is being used to engage the peaceful activist of We Are Change. John Lovetro, the girl’s father, struck Gary leaving a flesh wound under his right eye. Gary, aware of his rights, did not at any time defend himself and yet remains the victim, now facing charges of 3rd degree assault. NEW YORK (WABC) -- Heavily armed New York police units will start patrolling the subway today. They're the result of a federal security grant announced back in January.

Eyewitness New reporter Lisa Colagrossi has more on the story.

This force is very similar to the "hercules" team, only with a metrocard. Thanks to a massive federal transit grant New York City subways are going to get a boost in terms of security, trying to prevent terrorist attacks.

Commissioner Kelly will announce the deployments this morning.

Our proud member Gary, who was confronting Laura & Jenna Bush was threatened by an unknown individual. This unknown individual was much taller and larger than Gary. For no reason this individual started to lunge at Gary and punch him and beat him. Gary did not defend himself or fight back. Gary was the victim and did not strike once at the unknown individual. This provocateur provoked an attack by trying to instigate a fight and now Gary was arrested and is now facing third degree assault charges by this unknown provocateur. Gary will be arraigned tomorrow morning please call the 19th Precinct and ask them why Gary was unlawfully arrested and charged with a third degree assault charge when he is innocent and obviously the victim.

Matt Lepacek was released tonight with a summons for disorderly conduct and will go to court in the future.

Luke Rudkowski indicates that two We Are Change activists have been unlawfully arrested outside of a speaking event with Laura Bush and Jenna Bush in New York.

Gary– an active member of the New York chapter– reportedly refused orders from the Secret Service to move from a sidewalk where the Bushes were entering the building. Shortly afterwards, while Gary was trying to ask Laura and Jenna a question, a plainclothes man escorting someone in a wheelchair started a fight, according to sources within We Are Change.

The fight was broken up, and both men were taken to a police precint. However, the man who started the fight was released without charges while Gary is still being held.

Inside the event, We Are Change reporter Matt Lepacek attempted to interject a question during Laura Bush’s speech and was reportedly dragged out by police. Rudkowski reports the police intentionally bashed Lepacek’s head against a door or wall. Lepacek used his cell phone to video the Bush question, but it was confiscated by the police. Lepacek previously stirred controversy when he was arrested for asking a member of Giuliani’s staff a question and subsequently arrested.

As of this report at 11 PM CST, both Matt Lepacek and Gary are still being held. Rudkowski has inquired at the precint station, but police have as yet refused to disclose the charges.

Phone calls from this office to Precint 19 in attempt to obtain accurate information about the charges resulted in rude behavior and several hang-ups, as well as a transfer to the NYPD’s Dept. of Public Information (a dead end).

Two of our We Are Change members Matt Lepacek and Gary were arrested tonight during the Laura Bush & Jenna Bush truth squad. Gary was physically assaulted by an unknown man. That unknown man was released, but Gary is still at the precinct awaiting charges. The charges are still unknown for Matt Lepacek. This is unlawful and outrageous.

Al-CIAda sock puppet Ayman al-Zawahiri was quoted in an audiotape released today accusing Iran of behind behind 9/11 conspiracy theories, in another crude public relations stunt designed to generate hostile opinion towards the 9/11 Truth Movement.

The tape had been promised three weeks ago by monitoring group IntelCenter, who have been caught in the past putting out fake and misleading "Al-Qaeda" material via the alleged media arm of the terrorist organization As-Sahab, and was finally released today.

The set-up revolved around Al-Zawahiri’s responding to questions submitted by the public via the Internet.

One of the questioners asked about the theory that has circulated in the Middle East and elsewhere that Israel was behind the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon," reports the Associated Press.

Christie Todd Whitman Not Liable For Telling Residents That World Trade Center Air Was Safe To Breathe, Judge Rules

NEW YORK — Former EPA chief Christine Todd Whitman cannot be held liable for telling residents near the World Trade Center site that the air was safe to breathe after the 2001 terrorist attacks, a federal appeals court said Tuesday.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Whitman apparently made comments reassuring people about the safety around the site based on conflicting information and reassurances by the White House.

The appeals court said legal remedies are not always available for every instance of arguably deficient governmental performance.

A Department of Justice lawyer had argued late last year that holding the former head of the Environmental Protection Agency liable would set a dangerous precedent in future disasters because public officials would fear making public statements.

As disheartening and disturbing as this man and his actions are,I am positive Luke and everyone at CHANGE handled themselves in a professional manner. Within the last couple of weeks during our weekly Saturday vigil's at ground zero there has been a dangerous individual causing us many problems. His name is Nico Haupt mostly known for his no plane research, and his actions need to be made public for our safety.

After the Time Square Bombing that took place at the very place that WeAreCHANGE does their street actions each Saturday night, Nico came out to our Ground Zero Vigil with a huge sign saying “We Did The Time Square Bombing.” Nico tried to associate us with the terrorists who committed a horrendous and cowardly act on this city of New York. He continued for weeks with the police department ignoring him, and decided to raise his efforts in trying to destroy our message of peace and truth.

Nico verbally sexually harassed our female members, bit one of our members nose, choked and punched one our members and committed other horrendous acts all while the police always let him walk away without checking his I.D. There is video of all his actions, and it will be published in the coming days. It will show what we have to go through, and if there is another altercation, the public will know the truth behind this matter.

This past Saturday Nico came down wearing a fake Hitler mustache on his face, verbally harassing our members. He then walked up to Sabrina Rivera and myself, charging at our faces trying to put the Hitler mustache on us. There was a scuffle, and when the police where called, Nico was seen trying to walk away. The police came and because it was not witnessed by them, Sabrina and Nico were issued summons and will have a day in court.

WeAreCHANGE is a peaceful and nonviolent group which is founded on the principles Gandhi’s and Martin Luther King’s nonviolence movement. Nothing can stop the WeAreCHANGE movement in making history and standing up for the people, these recent incidents just show how much of an impact we are making and how far certain interests will go to stop us. Nothing will stop WeAreCHANGE and with every attack on us we will grow and push harder in the name of justice.

Police made no arrests, but press skews incident to smear anti-EU protesters Paul Joseph Watson

During an attempt to assault activists who asked him a question in Dublin, a European MEP tripped and fell on his face and the entire incident was caught on camera, but that didn't stop the media from reporting that an "anti-EU gang" of thugs had screamed abuse and assaulted Proinsias de Rossa - in a crass attempt to smear opposition to the European Union.

The video shows de Rossa being approached slowly by the cameraman and another We Are Change Ireland activist who asks, "Why did you do it?" to which de Rossa responds, "When are you going to grow up?"

Earlier, de Rossa had called for Irish citizens to support the sovereignty-stripping EU Lisbon Treaty, which is a re-packaged version of the European Constitution that was already summarily rejected by voters upon introduction.

The two begin walking down the street and de Rossa is the first to physically put his arm on the activist as he moves him out of the way to cross the street.

De Rossa then lunges for another cameraman behind him and then begins running towards him.

De Rossa clearly then appears to trip and fall to the ground as he reaches out for the cameraman.

We Are Change Ireland flagged down a police van themselves to report the incident and, even as media reports are forced to admit, after questioning eyewitnesses, the police made no arrests. If anyone should have been arrested for assault it was de Rossa himself.

Bearing in mind what actually happened as seen on the video, look at how the media reported the incident.

Under the headline Anti-EU gang assaults Irish MEP, the BBC reported, "Irish former minister Proinsias de Rossa was knocked to the ground after a public meeting in Dublin on Monday night, according to the Labour Party."

The Labour Party being bastions of honesty, of course.

"Labour leader Eamon Gilmore said the MEP was confronted by a group of men who screamed abuse at him before knocking him over and pinning him down," added the report.

Watch the video again. Who exactly knocks de Rossa to the ground? The invisible man? It is clearly de Rossa's out of control temper and his shock at the audacity of citizens asking questions of a politician that led to him falling flat on his face.

The Belfast Telegraph went a step further, claiming de Rossa had been "attacked".

Again - police investigated the incident and interviewed eyewitnesses before making no arrests, proving that no "assault" or "attack" on de Rossa ever took place. No crime had been committed.

The Associated Press seized on the purported "assault" to smear anti-EU groups.

"The episode highlighted hostility in Ireland's hard left to the European Union, which requires a "yes" vote from Ireland for the treaty, the product of several years' negotiations, to become law," according to the report.

Again this reflects a fundamental ignorance of the fact that We Are Change Ireland were born out of the 9/11 Truth Movement, which revolves around the central issue of the 9/11 attacks, and not any prescribed political partisanship.

Why were the media so keen to perpetuate such a giant fraud and smear the activists as violent thugs while exalting the pro-EU MEP as an innocent victim?

Because a "no" vote in Ireland, the only EU member nation to allow a referendum on the issue, would signal the death knell for the Lisbon Treaty, and the press - especially the BBC who routinely propagandize for the expansion of the EU and have received over £141 million in loans and grants from Brussels - have to engage in dirty tricks and smear campaigns to try and reverse public opinion which has always been anti-European Union.

“Nine, eight, seven …”

A crowd of about 10,000 people collectively began counting down on the University of Colorado’s Norlin Quadrangle just before 4:20 p.m. Sunday.

Yet the massive puff of pot smoke that hovers over CU’s Boulder campus every April 20 — the date of an annual, internationally recognized celebration of marijuana — began rising over the sea of heads earlier than normal this year.

“Oh forget it,” one student said, aborting the countdown to 4:20 p.m. and lighting his pipe early. He closed his eyes, taking a deep, long drag.

“Sweet.”

Although it’s become an annual and renowned event at CU, this year’s 4/20 celebration was different in some ways than in many previous years: The crowd was so large it migrated from the long-traditional site of Farrand Field to the larger Norlin Quad; festivities kicked off earlier than normal with daytime concerts; and CU police handed out zero citations.
